A focal piece with oh soooooo many uses!
Lovely display baker for oranges, apples, pine cones, and other seasonal collections.
Perfect for baking casseroles, pasta, pot pies, roasts, a big mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, cinnamon rolls, berry or apple crisps, spice coffee cake, stews, root veg mix, or perhaps a chicken.
Chill in the fridge and serve up a huge fruit salad.
Warm it then add a towel for a dinner roll bowl.
I use 2 or 3 when I am canning for holding peeled tomatoes or all the fixings for jam.
To use for baking, think of this pot as a glass baker...
Fill the baker with ingredients, place in cool oven and turn oven temp to up to 400F.
Otherwise, if oven is hot, fill with warm to hot ingredients then place in oven.
Avoid shocking the pot and potential breakage by not placing cold or frozen ingredients into baker and then placing baker in a hot oven.
Of course, low temps and slow cooking is a great option when using your baker.
Hand-thrown, hand-stamped, and hand-signed using sturdy and functional brown stoneware clay manufactured in Montana. Each piece is hand-brushed with at least 6 coats of glazing, ensuring a durable finish. This pottery is built to last, made to be used and bring a little smile to your day.
I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next, hand-crafted, and with hand-brushed glazing. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.
Food-safe materials. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
