Hand-carved little stash jar with lid: Glacial Waters

Specially designed as a keeper for garlic, ginger root, turmeric, or some other little kitchen stash that prefers a shaded spot with plenty of air flow. Folks have asked if they can put some twinkle lights or even yarn in these jars and I say, " Yes!, Whatever floats your boat! I love when folks take a creative handcrafted piece and get creative with it!"

Each little stash jar is hand-carved. Hand-thrown and hand-signed using durable and functional brown stoneware clay produced in Montana, each little jar with lid is hand-brushed with at least 6 coats of glazing, ensuring a thick blanket of glass for long-time use.

I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next, hand-crafted, and with hand-brushed glazing. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.
