Pour-over is a staple of specialty coffee, favored for its precise control over brewing parameters, and recognized for its ability to extract a clean, flavorful cup with a silkier mouthfeel, highlighting the unique characteristics of the coffee beans.

The slow, controlled, consistent extraction allows for optimal flavor extraction, potentially producing a richer, more balanced, and brighter cup than traditional drip coffee.

While a manual dripper is an extremely simple device, it is a great tool for getting the most from your brewing ritual.

The Dripper fits V60 reusable cone inserts and No. 2 Paper Cone Filters and comes with its own Drip Dish to save your countertops from wayward drips.

A little history of the pour-over:
The pour-over coffee method, also known as dripping, gained popularity in the 20th century, particularly in Japan. It was initially invented in 1908 by Melitta Bentz, who sought a better brewing method and created the first paper filter for pour-over. This invention laid the foundation for the modern pour-over method.

Hand-thrown, hand-stamped, and hand-signed using sturdy and functional brown stoneware clay manufactured in Montana. Each piece is hand-brushed with at least 6 coats of glazing, ensuring a durable finish. This pottery is built to last, made to be used and bring a little smile to your day.

I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next, hand-crafted, and with hand-brushed glazing. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.
