This Snack Bowl is the first pot I made in the Marbled technique! As with some of my "First" pots, it has a nub of porcelain about an inch down from the rim on the inside of the bowl. Sometimes, when I am testing new surface design and glazes, I pull from a stockpile of pots that have some remarkable beauty mark. This pot has that tiny bit of extra porcelain. Other than that, the patterning of the marbling has great color development and thanks to the way this pot turned out, I've since made a batch or two of pots in this new surface and am planning to launch a series of different types of pots with that surface in 2025! Due to the little porcelain charm it will forever carry, this pot is slightly reduced in price, even though it is the first of its kind!

A unique, marbled bowl designed to hold treats and snacks while you spend some time doing something you love... fruit, some chips, perhaps ice cream, popcorn, nuts, cheese puffs, some carrots, pretzels, gummy bears, or maybe the seasonal Chex mix, whatever your own unique take on you own favorite snack is, this unique pot is the perfect size to be your favorite snack bowl!

Hand-thrown, hand-stamped, hand-brushed glaze, and hand-signed using sturdy and functional porcelain clay made in Canada. Each bowl is marbled using pigmented clay then hand-brushed with at least 3 coats of clear or pigmented glazing, ensuring a durable finish.

I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next, hand-crafted, and with hand-brushed glazing. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.

Food-safe materials. Dishwasher and microwave safe, although I hand wash.
