Sized for Aran and some Bulky weight yarns and smaller.
Specially designed by a knitting, crocheting, hand-spinning potter to keep your venturing yarn balls in check while you ponder the simple pleasures in life.
This Yarn Bowl comes with 4" Bonsai Snips - designed after a 300 year old design and very sharp - great for crafting!
This design is a celebration of our love for honeybees and all things wild and free, the glaze is the result of 5 years of testing to perfect the color match to the honey produced by our honeybees in our tiny apiary. We live at a sub-alpine level so our bees live a very wild and free life, foraging on mountain wildflowers.
Hand-thrown, hand-carved and hand-signed using durable and functional brown stoneware clay manufactured in Montana. Each bowl is hand-carved, smoothed, and hand-brushed with at least 6 coats of glazing, ensuring even the most delicate yarns and fibers will glide on the pot’s surface with no snagging.
I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next, hand-crafted, and with hand-brushed glazing. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.
