All mugs are designed for hugging, warming hands, holding a cup of your favorite brew close to your nose for a long slow inhale of yummy smells, and long sips while looking off and pondering your next adventure. Easy drinking and lots of pondering....

This design originated from working in my studio on a very snowy day, looking up to see huge snowflakes twirling and swirling in the air, the trees were heavy with snow, and deer were meandering around looking for tiny nibbles sticking up from the deep snow. Images of snow globes danced in my head.

This is the model for the Winter Wonderland Snow Globe Mugs! It has everything in the design, lots of snowflakes, deer, snowmen, trees and a lovely big holiday tree too! This was one of my seasonal designs from 2021 and this is the only mug left of that design. This mug carries all the inspiration of that design and finished out of the kiln with remarkable relief and impression patterns. Never say never. I can't say that I'll never repeat this design or apply it to other forms, but I will say, this mug has it all and is all I intended that design to be.

Hand-thrown, hand-stamped, and hand-signed using sturdy and functional brown stoneware clay manufactured in Montana. Each mug is hand-brushed with at least 6 coats of glazing, ensuring a durable finish. These mugs are built to last, made to be used and bring a little smile to your day.

I create in small batches. Each piece is thrown in the likeness of the next, hand-crafted, and with hand-brushed glazing. I hope you’ll agree variations in color, small marks from the minerals and stone in the clay, or slight sways in design resulting from working with natural materials create the charm expected and treasured in handmade pottery.

Food-safe materials. Dishwasher and microwave safe, although I hand wash and shy away from microwaving my hot beverages.
